The Machinists Union represents over 6000 members throughout the states of Kentucky, Tennessee and parts of Alabama and Georgia, in over 60 workplaces. We hope this website is a resource for both our members and our visitors.

The IAM is one of the most democratic unions in America. Our officers are elected from the ground up off the shop floor. Our members do all types of work. We have expertise in most types of workplaces, from manufacturing, nursing homes and Service Contracts to government employees.
